Training as a machine and plant operator 2027 (m/f/d)

Elements of curriculum:

• Training as a machine and plant operator specializing in metal and plastics technology
• Programming and operation of CNC-controlled machines (e.g. punch-laser machines, press brakes etc.)
• Machine servicing and maintenance
• Analysing, documenting and, if possible, rectifying plant faults
• Forming and separating components and metal constructions from sheet metal
• Quality inspection

Length of training:

• 2 years

Prerequisites:

• Entrance qualification for vocational education and training

Desirable skills you should have:

• Skill in craftsmanship
• Physical endurance
• Enjoy dealing with metal materials
• Ability to work as a team

Opportunities for advanced training:

• Continuation of training up to graduation as a construction mechanic
• Industrial-Master
• State-certified technician
